Stanley Franklin Walker, 65, of Fillmore, died at his residence in Fillmore on June 30, 2024, with his longtime companion, Joan Oller, by his side.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 2, at Stiehl Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis.
Mr. Walker was born to the late Donald E. Walker and Julia M. Myers in Springfield. He was employed as a union painter.
He is survived by his children, Steven F. Walker of Coffeen, Zach Gibbs of Taylorville, Derek Gibbs of Coffeen and Shannon Schroyer of Schram City; grandchildren Odessa Gibbs, Harley Schroyer and Kaisyn Walker; siblings, James Walker of Florida, Carol Lewis of Virden and Annie Walker of Virden.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Walker was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Walker and grandson, Xavier Gibbs.
