Larry Carl Janssen, 75, of Mattoon, died on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at 10:02 a.m. at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon.
Burial will be held at a later date at St. Maurice Catholic Cemetery in Morrisonville. Hough Funeral Home in Raymond is assisting the family.
Mr. Janssen was born May 31, 1947, in Litchfield, to Carl and Mildred (Niehaus) Janssen. He married Delores Clevenger, and then later married Cathy A. Conlin.
He served in the Illinois National Guard and worked most of his life in sales before he retired.
Mr. Janssen is survived by his daughter, Angela (husband Patrick) Armour of Raymond; son, Shane Janssen of Mattoon; twin sister, Linda Kollenberg of Springfield; and seven grandchildren, Landin, Kayley, Kensey and Katelyn Armour, and Kelsey, Kara and Kyleigh Janssen.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Kent Janssen; and borother, David Janssen.
