Jeremy Craig White, 36, of Aurora, CO, formerly of Hillsboro, died on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, unexpectedly at his home.

Funeral services will be held graveside at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 10, at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hillsboro, with Pastor Randy White officiating. A Celebration of Life will follow at noon at the Irving Century House, located at 121 Union Street in Irving. Cremation rites were accorded.

Mr. White was born on on March 13, 1987, in Hillsboro, to Larry White of  Florida and Jane (Mike) Smith of Hillsboro.He was a native of Hillsboro and graduate of Hillsboro High School. During his school days, while riding the school bus, he met the love of his life Amie Potts, they were married on Jan. 3, 2016, in Las Vegas NV.

The couple’s free spirits and free will found them and their cat Ebony moving to Colorado. Mr. White loved the outdoors and nature. He also loved sports, especially baseball. Mr. White was a graduate of The Harry Wendelstedt School of Umpiring. Living in Colorado gave him a great opportunity to umpire many games at various levels. Mr. White was blessed to have an abundance of family and friends who loved him. He was always there to help anyone.

In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. White is survived by his nephew, Brody Jeremy White; grandparents, Alvin and Judy Bertram; many uncles, aunts, cousins and friends; his wife’s family, who loved him beyond words as did so many; and the couple’s cat Ebony.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Christopher Allen White; and grandparents, Clinton and Shirley O’Bryant, Thomas White and Beatrice Grabow.
