Jeffrey Scott Timmermeier, 60, of Litchfield, died on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2023, at 12:29 p.m. at his residence.
Visitation will be held Monday, Jan. 16, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Kravanya Funeral Home in Gillespie. Funeral Mass will be conducted Tuesday, Jan. 17, beginning at 11:30 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church in Staunton. Burial will follow at St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery in Staunton.
Mr. Timmermeier was born Nov. 2, 1962, in Alton, to Robert Michael “Mike” and Janet L. (Stahl) Timmermeier. He married Tracy D. Drake on July 8, 1989, in Staunton, and she survives.
During his career, he served as an adjuster for Olin Corporation for 41 years.
Mr. Timmermeier enjoyed fishing and mushroom hunting. He also enjoyed watching sports, working on puzzles and spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Devin (Kate) Timmermeier of Benton, Dustin Timmermeier of St. Louis, MO, Shelsie Timmermeier and Jace Timmermeier, both of Gillespie, and Drew Timmermeier of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Stephanie, Lucas and Michael; siblings, Dawn (Jerry) Spickerman of Edwardsville and Stacy Coyne of Staunton; and brother-in-law, Carl Starr of Carlinville.
Mr. Timmermeier was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Vadena Starr; and brother-in-law, Tom Coyne.
