Harry R. Buckley, 68, of Litchfield and Mount Olive, died on Friday, Nov. 17, 2023.
No services are planned at this time. Hough and Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Buckley was born in Kansas City, MO, to the late Harry L. and Frieda Buckley. He married Dia Dudley, and they later divorced.
He worked as a Mount Olive police officer, warden and had owned and operated Buckley’s Construction Co. in Litchfield and Bucks Tavern in Benld. Mr. Buckley enjoyed spending time and working with the Litchfield Amvets.
He is survived by his children, Mathew Buckley of Ocala FL, Jaime Wellman of Litchfield, Harry Buckley of Litchfield and Brian Buckley of Litchfield; several grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two brothers and two sisters.
Mr. Buckley was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
