Ellsworth Daniel Parish Jr., 76, of Alhambra, died on Monday, Feb. 27, 2023, at his residence.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Cremation rites were accorded. The Lesicko Funeral Home of Livingston, assisted by the Williamson Funeral Home of Staunton, are assisting the family with arrangements.
Mr. Parish was born on Sunday, Nov. 10, 1946, in Litchfield. He was the son of Ellsworth D. and Florence (Lynch) Parish.
Mr. Parish grew up in Sawyerville and graduated from Gillespie High School on May 29, 1964. He worked with maintenance as a painter at Granite City Steel. His loved ones knew him as a great guy and friend to many.
Mr. Parish is survived by his children, Debbie S. (husband Marty) Cralley of Livingston, Danny Parish of Girard, Adam Parish of Hannibal, MO, Dana Goth of Highland and Eric Parish of Staunton; ten grandchildren, Natosha M. (husband Brian) Cralley, Owen Parish, Jonathon (wife Kelly) Parish, Brian Parish, Kassidy and Katrina Goth, Ethan, Evan and Eric Parish, and Martin Ray Cralley; four great-grandchildren, Haiden (Brooke), Halei Zumwalt, Kloei Siefke and Gwendolyn Parish; grandson-in-law, Shadwell Siefke; great-great-granddaughter, Esmera lda Zumwalt (arriving in the month of March); and siblings, Thurman (wife Linda) Parish of Sawyerville, Earnie (wife Norma) Parish of Staunton, Rick (wife Vickie) Parish of Kentucky and Faith Cummings of Ohio.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Hope Korunka; daughter-in-law, Tina Parish; granddaughter, Crystal D. (Cralley) Siefke; and first wife, Sharon (Shanks) Parish.
