William Seelbach, 85

William “Bill” Seelbach, 85 of Farmersville, died Sunday, May 26, 2024, at his home.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of funeral mass at 11 a.m., Thursday, May 30, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Farmersville with the Rev. Florent Kanga officiating. Burial will be in St. Martin’s Cemetery in Farmersville.
Bramley Funeral Home in Divernon is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Seelbach was born May 28, 1938, in Farmersville, the son of Alvin and Gertrude Murphy Seelbach. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Bob, Alvin, Dale and Jim. He married Judith Brockamp on Oct. 28, 1962. Mr. Seelbach retired from Franklin Life Insurance Company after 39 years. He was a member of the Farmersville Knights of Columbus and St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He served as a member of the Air National Guard.
Mr. Seelbach loved gardening and working outside. He was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, the Fighting Illini and Notre Dame football.
He is survived by his wife, Judy; his children, Doug (Dawn) Seelbach, Beth (late husband, Tom) Blake, Melissa (late husband, Jeff) Litterst, Greg (Kathy) Seelbach and Tim (Rachel) Seelbach; thirteen grandchildren, Cassandra, Katelin and William Seelbach, Tom and Steve Blake, Adam and Madeline Litterst, Jacob, Luke and Joseph Seelbach, Kaylee, Taylor and Brady Seelbach; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
