Betty Poznic, 94, of Hillsboro, died Monday, Sept. 2, 2024 at Hillsboro Rehab and Health Care.
No services are planned at this time. Hough and Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Poznic was born in St. Louis, MO, on Dec. 8, 1929, to Julius and Anna (Murchison) Fehse. She graduated from McKinley High School in 1948. She married Milan Poznic in St. Louis, MO, on July 22, 1949, and he preceded her in death in May of 1988.
Mrs. Poznic worked as a cashier at Ben Franklin, Dollar General and Fuller Brothers, all in Hillsboro; she also was a volunteer at the local Salvation Army. She attended the Free Methodist Church in Hillsboro.
Mrs. Poznic is survived by three children, Randy Poznic of Hillsboro, Steven Poznic of Estes Park, CO, and Ann Henderson of Houston, TX; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
