William Joseph Bergman, 72, formerly of Raymond and Hillsboro, died May 16, 2024.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 31, at the First Christian Church in West Plains, MO, locatted at 422 W Main St.
Mr. Bergman was born to Mary Lou and Joseph Bergman on Sept. 18, 1951, in Litchfield. He had an associate’s degree in Technology and maintained a career as a navigator for Mobile Oil search in Houston, TX, where he traveled all over the world.
He married Joyce Hooper on Nov. 1, 2000, in Hillsboro. He was affectionately known as Papa Bill, and he loved telling stories about his adventures to his two grandsons. He loved his family very much.
Mr. Bergman is survived by his wife Joyce Bergman; one daughter Leslie Hooper; grandsons Zeith and Zyler McKinney; mother Mary Lou Bergman; Luanne (Greg) Stewart; James (Emma) Bergman; Jeanie (Doyle) Roth; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Bergman of Raymond.
