Mary J. Quinn, 82, of Litchfield, died on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at her residence in Litchfield.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 14, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Litchfield Family Funeral Service, located at 700 S. State St. in Litchfield. Funeral services will follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Litchfield Family Funeral Services is assisting the family.
Mrs. Quinn was born on Oct. 1, 1941, in Litchfield, the daughter of the late Vernon and Mary Wendel Savage. She married Kenneth Collette on April 11, 1959, in Hillsboro, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 10, 1986. She would go on to marry Dan Gall, Christopher Leonard and then Robert Quinn, they all preceded her in death.
She worked as a CNA at Litchfield Terrace, retiring in 1997 and was an avid football and baseball fan who also enjoyed music. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Quinn is survived by her daughter, Susan (Mehmet) Akalan of Litchfield; son, Dale (Lorna) Colette of California; six grandchildren; siblings Marvin (Shirley) Savage, Wanda Marit and Darrell Savage all of Litchfield; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four husbands; three brothers; and one sister.
