Marian Alberta (Cory) Browning, 86, of Litchfield, died peacefully on Thursday, Oct. 10, 2024, at her son’s home in Litchfield, surrounded by her children.
Burial will be held in Elmwood Cemetery, Litchfield.
Mrs. Browning was born Feb. 6, 1938, in Mt. Carmel, a daughter of Marion Thomas Cory and Opal Alberta Bain. She graduated from Litchfield High School with the class of 1953.
Mrs. Browning moved to Anchorage, AK, in 1984 with her husband, daughter and mother. She worked at TDA for more than 20 years. She was in Professional Secretary’s International. She retired and in 2010 and moved back to her hometown of Litchfield. She loved to travel and be with family. One could always find her by her laugh. She deeply loved to dance and most weekends in Anchorage one could find her dancing. She was a member of Faith Lutheran in Litchfield. She loved to garden and plant her flowers.
Mrs. Browning was preceded in death by her parents and stepfather, Millard Gordon.
Mrs. Browning is survived by her daughter, Vicki Elaine Brockmiller Deviny of Litchfield, son, Steven Brett and (Kathi) Brockmiller of Litchfield, daughter, Karen Lee Brockmiller Lebon of Knoxville, TN, and daughter, Jennifer Lynn Browning of Litchfield; stepsister, Alvera Cory of Vancouver, WA; ten grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
