Beverly Jean Broderick, 83, of Litchfield, died on June 17, 2024, at Hillsboro Rehabilitation and Health Care in Hillsboro.
A celebration of life will be held at Litchfield Family Funeral Services, at 700 S. State St. in Litchfield, on Friday, July 5, from 9 to 11 a.m. Graveside services will be held at 11:15 a.m. Friday, July 5, at the Crabtree Cemetery in Litchfield, with Pastor Stefan Munker officiating.
Mrs. Broderick was born on May 7, 1941, to Oliver and Esther (Escherhausen) Dillinger of Litchfield. She graduated from Litchfield High School in 1959 and went on to Capital Area School of Nursing. Mrs. Broderick worked as a LPN for several different care facilities.
On June 24, 1961, she married Robert Broderick in Greenville and the couple lived in Litchfield. Mrs. Broderick was a member of Cornerstone Apostolic Church in Litchfield and loved to play bingo and go to yard sales.
Mrs. Broderick is survived by her daughter, Lisa Tyrell of Litchfield and son, Michael (Kelly) Broderick of Carlinville; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter Audra Wilson; grandson Casey Broderick; great-grandson Brentley Tyrell; and brother, Richard Dillinger.
