William (Bill) Paul Schultz II, 68, of Irving, previously from Gillespie, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, Oct. 8, at 10:44 a.m. At the time, he lived with his sister, Ruth Wilkolaski.
Mr. Schultz will be cremated with a small private family cemetery gathering. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Mr. Schultz was born on Sept. 30, 1957, in Montgomery County. He was the son of the late William Paul Schultz and Esther Fay Schultz of Litchfield. He married Connie Thacker with whom they had two children and divorced later in life.
He was employed a short time with Wabash-Norfolk and Western, but spent most of his time as a superintendent at Marathon-NAPCO Plastics in Litchfield and St. Louis Plastic Bottles in St. Louis, MO. He also worked a short time at Utah Plastics in Utah.
His legacy of love, laughter and kindness will forever live in loved ones’ hearts and he will never be forgotten by all who knew and loved him.
Mr. Schultz is survived by his son, Brandon Schultz of Litchfield; daughter, Lindsay Belcher of Litchfield; grandchildren, Kalli Daugherty and Dayton Belcher, both of Missouri; sisters, Ruth (Dennis) Wilkolaski of Irving and Judith Schultz of Edwardsville; longtime best friends, Doug and Karyl Dressen of Coffeen; and several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grandnephews who he was adored by.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Esther Schultz; and sisters, Sheryl Beechler and Carol Hedum.
