Kathy L. Bolte, 66, of Nokomis, died on Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2022, with her family by her side.
Visitation will be held Saturday, Aug. 20, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Stiehl-Dawson Funeral Home in Nokomis. Funeral services will follow, beginning at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Kettlekamp Cemetery in rural Nokomis.
Mrs. Bolte was born Aug. 14, 1956, in Hillsboro, to Kenneth and Thelma (Jones) Singler. She married Mark D. Bolte on Dec. 31, 1976, in Nokomis, and he survives.
She graduated from Nokomis High School with the class of 1974.
Mrs. Bolte’s greatest joy in life was her grandchildren. She loved taking them shopping and out to eat. She was also the best babysitter to many children.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Amy (Nathan) Blaum of Nokomis; grandchildren, Emma Blaum, Noah Blaum and Jaxon Blaum; siblings, Brenda (Bob) Barnstable, Carolyn Reed and Bob Singler, all of Nokomis; niece, Mindy Cole; and nephew, Mitch (Ashley) Cole.
Mrs. Bolte was preceded in death by her parents; and nephew, Matthew Cole.
