William ”Bill” D. Fogle, 58, of Hillsboro, died May 6, 2024, at his residence.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 9, beginning at noon until the time of the service at Hough and Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Masonic funeral rites will follow at the funeral home at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Jerry Woods officiating.
Mr. Fogle was born to Michael Fogle Sr. and Lucille (Huber) Caulk on Aug. 30, 1965 in Hillsboro. He married Dorene Rose Gnat, and she preceded him in death in 1998. He then married Camille Cinert on May 27, 2000, and she survives.
A skilled carpenter, he was a self-proclaimed “jack of all trades.” He loved to golf, bowl and shoot pool, but mostly he loved to help people.
A member of the United Pentecostal Church in Hillsboro, he was raised a Mason on Jan. 13, 2007 at LaGrange Masonic Lodge #770. He became a member and past Worshipful Master of Mt. Moriah Masonic Lodge #51 in Hillsboro, and went through the Scottish Rites and ANSAR Shrine in Springfield.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother, Lucille; children Kimberly (husband Mitchell) Arellano of Rochelle, Brenda (husband Jesse) Woolard of Hillsboro, James Fogle of Rochelle and Chandler Fogle of Hillsboro; grandchildren Hayley Arellano, Matthew Arellano, Makynzi Arellano, Madison Woolard and Everleigh Fogle.
He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Fogle Sr., stepfather Gilbert “Gill” Caulk, his brother Michael “Mike” Fogle Jr. and a granddaughter Evelynn Fogle.
