Jean Marie Huber, 60, of Vandalia, died at 5:48 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025, at Sarah Bush Lincoln Hospital.

A graveside service will be held on Oct. 25, at 10 a.m. at St. John’s Cemetery, north of Irving.

Mrs. Huber was born April 13, 1965, in Independence, MO, a daughter of James White and Katherine Matthews. She married David Huber, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Huber was a homemaker who made her own rules, was considered rebellious and wild, loving to joke with and prank her family. She was a loving wife, sister, mother, aunt, daughter and granddaughter. She enjoyed collecting decorative eggs and dolls.

Mrs. Huber is survived by her daughters, Kimberly (Scott) Davis of Kapolei, HI, and Rebecca Huber-Mathews of Cottonwood, AZ; three brothers, Mark, Louis and James White; grandson, Owen Davis; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by grandparents, Al and Mary Shimshea; sisters, Katie Angle and Sherry Lotion; nephew Johnathan Lotion; niece, Amanda Schmollinger; and great-niece, Kailyn Treece.
