Georgia M. Weller, 79, of Carlinville, died on Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2026, at her home, surrounded by family.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, Jan. 29, at Cross Church in Carlinville. Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Weller was born Nov. 3, 1946, in Virden, a daughter of Melvin and Flonnie (Rigney) Patton. She attended Virden High School and married Gene A. Weller on Jan. 18, 1963 in Virden.
She was a cosmetologist and helped on the farm. She also had worked in retail. She loved crafting and was talented with her wood carving, stained glass and ceramics. She was a member of Cross Church and loved her family, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Weller is survived by her husband, Gene A. Weller of Carlinville; daughter, Patty (Dennis) Bouillon of Carlinville; son, David (Meri Beth) Weller of Farmersville; daughter, Stacey Rouse of Carlinville; 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and brother, Gene (Betty) Patton of Springfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary VanHuss; and brother-in-law, Jim VanHuss.
