David “Beans” Vance Vincent, 67, died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025, at his home in Irving.

A visitation will be held on Friday, Nov. 7, at Toberman-Dean Funeral Home in Coffeen, from 3 to 5 p.m. Hough-Dean is assisting the family with arrangements.

Mr. Vincent was born on April 27, 1958, to Virgil and Oramay (Snider) Vincent. He attended Hillsboro High School.

Mr. Vincent married Cathy (Caulk) Vincent on June 10, 1978; and she survives. In his career, he was employed as a smelter at Eagle Zinc.

Mr. Vincent loved The Rolling Stones and Cardinals baseball. He cherished spending Sunday afternoons with his brother, Denny, and his friends in Schram City and looking for his grandchildren’s pictures in the local paper. He was proud to be called Papa, Grandpa Dave or Pop by his six grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Vincent is survived by two sons, Rick Vincent of Collinsville and Wade Vincent of Irving; one daughter, Danielle Keith of Hillsboro; two brothers, Richard (Diane) Vincent of Litchfield and Dennis Vincent of Hillsboro; one sister-in-law, Carol (Jim) Hempen of Hillsboro; and six grandchildren, Dylan Keith, Rece Vincent, Joplin Hartman, Marcus Vincent, Bryce Hubbard and Zain Vincent. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Rodney Keith; and his sister-in-law, Becky Vincent.
