Barbara Jo Dobrinic, 82, of Litchfield, formerly of Taylor Springs, died on January 25, 2026, at HSHS St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield.
Services celebrating her life will be scheduled at a future date.
Mrs. Dobrinic was born on Sept. 23, 1943, to Carroll and Gertrude Rhoads. She graduated with the Hillsboro High School class of 1961. She and Michael K. Dobrinic were married in Springfield, in 1962; and he preceded her in death in 2020. She was a member of Hillsboro Free Methodist Church.
Mrs. Dobrinic spent many years working in floral shops designing floral arrangements. She invested in her community in many ways, including serving as an election judge in Taylor Springs and as a treasurer for the Continuing Recovery Center in Irving. She also enjoyed volunteering her time to teach reading within the prison system. She was known for helping in ways that touched the lives of others.
Mrs. Dobrinic is survived by her son Bryan K. Dobrinic; grandchildren, Breona Dobrinic and Melody Rhoads; and her sister, Janet (Roger) Kutemeier.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Dobrinic was preceded in death by one son, Bradley M. Dobrinic; and two sisters, Donna Marblestone and Judyth Willis.
