Zander Lynn Johnson, 20, of Ramsey, died Sunday, November 19, 2023.
Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 28, at First Baptist Church of Ramsey, with Pastor John Sanders officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., two hours prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. Miller Funeral Home in Ramsey, is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Johnson was born Sept. 6, 2003, in Greenville, the son of Samuel L. and Christy A. (Leigh) Johnson. He was always eager to learn new skills and was especially interested in fabrication and building trades. Mr. Johnson previously had worked in construction and recently had switched his focus to working as an electrician. He was active in FFA in high school and he loved being outdoors. Mr. Johnson had many interests, including music, hunting and bonfires with his friends. He loved his cat, Ellie, and three dogs, Roscoe, Piper and Remi.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his parents, Sam and Christy Johnson of Ramsey; grandparents Whit Leigh of Findlay, Elaine Leigh of Rosamond, Lynn Johnson and Jill, Fillmore and Diane Craig of Vandalia; great-grandmother Melba Leigh of Findlay; and many aunts and uncles.
He is preceded in death by his great-grandparents.
