William “Billy” McKinney, 66, of Morrisonville, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2023, at his home.
Mr. McKinney will be cremated, and private burial will be held at Morrisonville Cemetery. The family hosted a celebration of life on Saturday, Dec. 9. The family has entrusted Shafer-Perfetti and Assalley Funeral Home in Taylorville with arrangements.
Mr. McKinney was born Aug. 8, 1957, in Taylorville, the only child of the late Charles and Norma Jean (Eyman) McKinney. He graduated from Morrisonville High School with the Class of 1975 and worked for many years in construction and logging.
Mr. McKinney is survived by his children, Zachary Taylor of Morrisonville, Adam McKinney of Texas and Taylor McKinney of Texas; grandson, Paxton Vogel; and several cousins.
