Wesley H. Olson, 51, of Springfield, died at 7:37 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 16, 2021, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21, at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Hillsboro with Father Daniel Willenborg officiating. Bass Patton Dean Funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Olson was born on June 10, 1970, in Rolla, MO. A high school graduate, he also completed Police Academy and worked as a police officer as well as in maintenance for St. Louis Lambert International Airport.
He is survived by a fiance, Letha Willenborg of Springfied; two children, Abbey Grace Olson and Hannah Rose Olson; one grandchild, River Williams; a brother, Sterling Wade Olson; and his fiance’s brothers, Daniel Willenborg and Francis (wife Heather) Willenborg.
