The past Litchfield Veiled Non-Profit group is looking for its newest member, to be unveiled at the 2021 Chamber of Commerce Halloween Parade in Litchfield.
Nominations for the honoree will be submitted by 5 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 1, and can be mailed to or brought into the Litchfield Public Library at 1205 South State Street.
In order to be awarded Veiled Non-Profit nominees must be a member of the Litchfield community for the last ten years, have significantly contributed to the betterment of Litchfield through volunteerism and community service, and must be willing to become an annual dues-paying member of the Veiled Non-Profit group, and participate in activities with and for the group.
Those interested in making a nomination are instructed to submit a narrative that includes evidence of the nominee’s cooperative or volunteer spirit in the community. A selection committee consisting of the officers of the Past Veiled Non-Profit group, representatives from the Litchfield Chamber of Commerce and the 2020 Veiled Non-Profit will select and notify the recipient.
