David E. Ernsberger, 62, of Litchfield, died on Sunday, Dec. 21, 2025, at his home in Litchfield.
There will be no services held at this time. Litchfield Family Funeral Service in Litchfield is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Ernsberger was born on June 20, 1963, in Long Beach, CA, a son of Carl and Barbara (England) Ernsberger. He graduated from Wright Town South High School with the class of 1982.
Mr. Ernsberger was a truck driver over the road for 32 years at several different trucking companies. He was a member of South Baptist Church. He loved his grandchildren and his dog, Zeus. He enjoyed many things, like the Broncos, NASCAR, country music and watching TV, especially WWII shows.
Mr. Ernsberger is survived by his mother, Barbara Ernsberger of Verona, MO; companion of 22 years, Janice Rowland of Litchfield; daughter, Brianne Gonzalez; son, Christopher Ernsberger; son, David Ernsberger; son, Nicholas Ernsberger; daughter, Cassandra Hardgrove; daughter, Alayna Ernsberger; stepson, Chris Bruntjen and stepdaughter, Tish (Cavin) Schmedeke; several grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; sister, Susan (Ramiro) Garcia of Aurora, MO; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Ernsberger.
