Tonia Unterbrink, 51, of Bethalto, died on Sunday, June 19, 2022, at her home.
A Celebration of Life was held Wednesday, June 22, at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto with Pastor Nancy Brooks officiating. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
Mrs. Unterbrink was born Sept. 4, 1970, in Alton, to Rodger and Cynthia (Tinsley) Eaker. She married Kent Unterbrink on May 11, 2013, and he survives.
She loved music, crafts, growing flowers and plants, and traveling with her husband. She also enjoyed sports and Nascar racing.
Mrs. Unterbrink’s greatest joy was spending time with her family and grandchildren. She is remembered as loving her animals.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Corey Curry of Coffeen, Cyle (Barbara) Curry of Benld and Cayla (husband Cody) Burch of Wilsonville; two stepsons, Blake Unterbrink and Brady Unterbrink, both of Hartford; siblings, Troy and Tammy Eaker of White City, Trish and Mike Null of Wood River and Tammy and Josh Corrington of Cottage Hills; father and mother-in-law, Ronald and Connie Unterbrink; brother-in-law, Kevin Unterbrink; and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews she loved deeply.
Mrs. Unterbrink was preceded in death by her parents; and grandparents.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to her husband, Kent Unterbrink, to help with expenses.
