Sherwood Steven “Steve” Wysocki, 79, of Witt, died Monday, Dec. 15, 2025, in O’Fallon.
A graveside funeral service will be held at Irving Cemetery at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 19. There will be no visitation. Hough-Dean Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Wysocki was born in Chicago on Feb. 11, 1946, a son of John Victor and Bernice (Ruthada) Wysocki. He was a self-employed carpenter, doing construction and home repair. He had also been employed as an apartment complex manager in California.
Mr. Wysocki enjoyed fishing, camping, and being outdoors and liked watching westerns. Most importantly, he delighted in spending time with his family.
Mr. Wysocki is survived by a brother, Rudy Wysocki; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Bernice Wysocki; and siblings, Dale Wysocki and Maryann Wysocki.
