Shirley W. Clevenger, 84, of Raymond, died Monday, May 18, 2020, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
Private family graveside services were held Saturday, May 23, in Virden Cemetery, with Pastor Terry Link officiating. Davis-Anderson Funeral Home assisted the family.
Mrs. Clevenger was born July 26, 1935, in Edinburg, to White and Dorothy (Barnett) Van Huss. She married Donald L. Clevenger on Nov. 23, 1951, in Carlinville, and they later divorced. He preceded her in death on Sept. 26, 1989.
The owner of C&S Food Mart in Raymond, she was a member of Grace Southern Baptist Church, and enjoyed collecting dolls.
She is survived by three sons, Steve (Laura) Clevenger of Girard, Kenneth (Shirley) Clevenger of Leland and Mark (Joyce) Clevenger of Raymond; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Paul (Ginny) Van Huss of Aurora; sister, Irene Kuntzman of Virden; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.
Memorials may be made to the Girard Food Pantry.
