Saathoff Wins Big At Macomb, Senoia, Belleville

The end of April was busy for Hillsboro High School freshman Chase Saathoff, but it was pretty productive, too for the rising start in the sport of flat track motorcycle racing.

Saathoff raced in the Lamoine Ramblers Motorcycle Club event in Macomb on Sunday, April 25 and came away with three victories in the Pro/Am, Open Amateur and 450cc Amateur classes.

A week later, Saathoff was in Senoia, GA, for the Racing Senoia Shootout on Friday, April 30. He would pick up two more victories at the event, in the 450cc Amateur and the Open Amateur, plus a third place finish in the Pro/Am.

After a few days off and a long drive back, Saathoff competed in the Belleville Enduro Team short track race and won three more times. His victories in the 251-450cc, 250cc-Open and Pro/Am races gave the young rider eight wins in nine races.
