Ryan “Bubba” Stolz, 41, of Decatur, died on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 6:45 a.m., at his home in Decatur.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 21, from 12 to 2 p.m., at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville. Funeral service will begin immediately following the visitation starting at 2 p.m., with Pastor Andy Troyer officiating. Burial will be in Nokomis Cemetery in Nokomis. Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville is assisting the family.
Mr. Stolz was born on May 4, 1985, in Decatur, the son of Ronnie Earl Stolz and Laura (Smith) Cundiff. He went to Taylorville High School and worked as an operator at Tate and Lyle.
He is survived by his mom, Laura Cundiff of Decatur; sisters, Amy Stolz, Mandy Stolz-Leigh, Lisa Stolz and Erica Cundiff, all of Decatur; cousin, Bruce Stolz Jr.; and several other cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his dad; aunt, Connie Stolz; grandfather, Lawrence Stolz; and cousin, Beau Ford.
