Richard W. Strehle, 82, of Frankfurt, Germany, died on Thursday, June 3, 2021, at his home.
He was born July 21, 1938, in Litchfield, to George W. and Edith (Weller) Strehle.
Mr. Strehle graduated from Litchfield High School with the class of 1956 and Dartmouth in 1960.
After working in the financial sector in New York City and London, he settled in Frankfurt, Germany, employed at Deutsche Bank and Deutsche Assessment Management until his retirement.
Living in Frankfurt for over 40 years gave Mr. Strehle the opportunity to travel throughout Europe, using his three languages, German, French and Italian. He was an avid skier, bridge player, cook and for years, served as liaison of the Dartmouth Alumni Club of Germany.
