Peggy L. Carder, 80, of Litchfield, died at Hillsboro Rehab and Health Care in Hillsboro, on Friday, Sept. 11, 2026.
Memorial visitation will be on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026, at Frank and Bright Funeral Home in Flora, from 10 a.m. until noon. Memorial services will follow the visitation at noon at the funeral home. Luncheon will be on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026, at the Fellowship Hall in Clay City, at 1 p.m.
Mrs. Carder was born March 25, 1946, in Flora, to Charles Goings and Thelma Guinn Goings. She married Floyd W. Carder on December 26, 1964, in Sailor Springs.
She was an antique store attendant. She enjoyed refinishing old furniture, Las Vegas and her family.
Mrs. Carder is survived by her spouse, Floyd W. Carder; daughters, Lesley D. Lineback and Shelly R. Stokes; grandchildren, Brady Stokes, Ashley Lineback, T.J. Stokes, Drake Lineback and Colby Stokes; great-grandchildren, Harlo Stokes, Knox Lineback and Mack Lineback; and siblings, Alice Casolari and Ina Ray.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Francis Young and Jo Ann Laycoax.
Memorials are suggested to St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
