Paula E. Jeffers-Knous, 79, of Litchfield, died on Monday afternoon, Sept. 7, 2026, at her home in Litchfield.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Jeffers-Knous was born January 20, 1947, in Shawnee, OH, a daughter of Harlow Maurer and Fern (Brinkman) Maurer. She attended Ohio schools. She married Andy Jeffers on June 26, 1963, in Hillsboro, and she later married Bill Knous.
She was a woman who cared deeply for others, which lead her to a career in heath care, where she worked at various local nursing homes and home health. She was also a great baker often bringing things to family gatherings. She also enjoyed making crafts and was an Elvis fan.
Mrs. Jeffers-Knous is survived by her daughter, Corinna Parish of Litchfield; sons, Sonny (Janice) Jeffers and Jerry (Jamie) Jeffers, both of Litchfield; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Cheryl Maurer of Lancaster, OH; two nephews; and one niece.
She was preceded in death by both her husbands; parents; son, Jeffery Andrew Jeffers Jr.; daughter-in-law, Kathy Jeffers; granddaughter, Nicole Parish; grandson, Andrew Jeffers; granddaughter, Amanda Jeffers; great-granddaughter, Cheyanne Dohleman; and brother, Ronald Maurer.
