Nancy Jo Hites, 70, of Chicago, formerly of Hillsboro, died Saturday, Dec. 18, 2021.
A private service will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Hites was born July 2, 1951, the daughter of Keith L. Daugherty and Lowanda M. Eubank (Ziegler). She married A. Kent Hites on Sept. 2, 1972 in Vandalia. He preceded her in death on Aug. 24, 2012.
She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Priewe (husband Dean), of Chicago; sister Kellie Clouse (husband Bill), of Mahomet; brother-in-law Steve Hites, of Vandalia; grandchildren Noah Priewe and Angela Priewe; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Kent; daughter Angela Hites; sister Cathy Manley; and in-laws Bill and Elise Hites.
