Mary Jeannette “Jean” Clark, 76, of Taylorville, died Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at 6:34 a.m. at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.

Visitation will be held Saturday, June 26, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor James Jones officiating. Burial will be held in Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville.

Mrs. Clark was born Jan. 13, 1945, in Taylorville, the daughter of David “Vin” Calvin Hall and Edith Pearl (Owen) Hall Light. She married Francis Dean Clark in 1963, and they later divorced. She retired from the Internal Revenue Service and was a member of the Taylorville Christian Church.

She is survived by her sons, Eric Clark of Taylorville, and Greg D. (Anita K.) Clark and Jeffrey B. Clark, all of Morrisonville; grandchildren, Fantasia Anderson of Boise, ID, Cheyenne  and Lakota Clark and Cassidy Beckham, all of Taylorville, Kylie and Ruger Clark of Morrisonville, Steven (Ashley) Rever of St. Joseph, MO, Matt (Alyssa) Rever of Ft. Still, OK, Zachary (Erica) Rever of Weston, MO, Timothy (Shyanne) Rever of Kansas City, MO, and Luke Rever of St. Joseph, MO; nine great-grandchildren; a brother, David (Shirley) Hall of Cowden; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by stepsisters, Nancy Dooley and Barb Minks; and stepfather, Otis Light.
