Mary Jane Baugher, 85, formerly of Hillsboro, died on Monday, March 20, 2023, at 9 a.m. in Petersburg, IN.
In accordance to her wishes, there will be no services. Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield is assisting the family.
Mrs. Baugher was born June 29, 1937, to Lloyd and Grace Mildred (Emmons) Giberson, Sr. She married Joseph McCoy Baugher on Feb. 22, 1957, at the home of his parents in Schram City, and he preceded her in death.
In her younger years, she was an avid softball player and bowler.
Mrs. Baugher enjoyed working for many years as a secretary at Edwards Real Estate and Rosentretter Insurance, both in Hillsboro. She also enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her two daughters, Brenda (Steve) Rappe of Winslow, IN, and Barb (Henri) LeVeque of Huntington, IN; two grandchildren, Joseph (Alicia) Rappe and Jamie (Justin) Huston; and five great-grandchildren, Jackson and Eleana Rappe and Emery, Charlotte and Isaac Huston.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Baugher was preceded in death by her parents.
