Marsha Kay Arkebauer, 70, of Oconee, died on Monday, June 15, 2026, in her home, with her family by her side.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 20, at McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Price Cemetery in Oconee. McCracken-Dean Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Mrs. Arkebauer was born on June 15, 1956, daughter of the late Willie M. and Alice (Klee) Jackson. She and David “Arkie” Arkebauer were married on June 26, 1983, at their home in White Oaks Bottom. He preceded her in death on Oct. 3, 2018. She worked as an accountant bookkeeper. She loved the color purple, working in her flower garden and spending time with family.
She is survived by her children, Bob (Sara Ibarra) Arkebauer of Oconee, Gabe (Wendi) Rivera of Albuquerque, NM, and Amy (Matt) Moore of Loami; grandchildren, Budda (Chandler) Gatons, Ashlee (John) Stadler, Alex Rivera, Nicole Arkebauer, Tyler Moore, Kiersten Moore, Alyssa Moore, Tiffany Moore, Robbie Gatons, Leslie (Matt) Saline and Keith Jestis; several great-grandchildren; and companion, Fred Schaffner of Pana.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Willie Jo; and brother, Andrew “Andy” Jackson.
Memorials may be made to the family and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home.
