Mark Stephen Moore, 67, of Waggoner, formerly of Springfield and Joliet, died on Monday afternoon, April 25, 2022, in Waggoner.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 1, beginning at 1 p.m. at the Waggoner Christian Church, 182 N. Wing St. Hough Funeral Home in Raymond is assisting the family.
Mr. Moore was born Nov. 26, 1954, in Springfield to Leonard and Joan V. (Runnels) Moore.
He was a master gardener, certified natural health practitioner, massage therapist, reiki master and certified colon hydro-therapist.
Mr. Moore was the manager of the vegetable gardens at Jubilee Farm in New Berlin from 2009 to 2013, where he started and operated their CSA before he ventured into his own farm, Healing Acres Farm in Chesterfield.
He actively sold his organic produce and grass fed meats at several farmers’ markets throughout the area.
Mr. Moore was very passionate and always saw the bright side of things. He will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his companion, Cindy Hatton; mother; three children, Matthew Moore, Kristen Moore and Joni (husband Alex) Davis; seven siblings, Chris (husband Dan) Dunn, Cathy (husband John) Strle, Tim Moore, Joan (husband Tom) Shankland, Patti (husband Gary) Brick, Tracey (husband Ed) Lesh and Bob Moore; 22 nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews. He is also survived by what he considered his stepdaughters, Angela (husband Danny) Brockmiller, Crystal (husband Richard) Snyder and Melissa (husband Jared) Harris; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. Moore was preceded in death by his father.
