Loretta M. Schroeder, 80, of Farmersville, died on Tuesday evening, Aug. 17, 2021, at her residence.
Graveside services will beheld at 11 a.m., on Saturday, Aug. 28, at Girard Cemetery. Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Girard is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Schroeder was born on April 20, 1941, to Oliver and Ida Mae (Watkins) Connolly in Waverly. She married Larry Schroeder on Nov. 14, 1962, in Jacksonville; he preceded her in death on May 15, 2009.
Mrs. Schroeder was a homemaker and also worked at Cherry’s Grocery Store in the deli department, retiring in 2010. She enjoyed watching television, going for walks, crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Schroeder is survived by her children Brenda (Bret) Foland of Normal, Joe (Marcy) Schroeder of Morris and Kris (Dave) Adams of Farmersville; ten grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Cindy Schroeder of Modesto.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Larry Schroeder, Jr.; and three brothers and a sister.
