Lola Nyoka (Wise) Mullery, 79, of East Moline, died on Sunday, March 7, 2021, at her son’s home in Davenport, IA.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 11, from 9 to 10 a.m. in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home in Moline, 701 12th Street. Funeral services will follow, beginning at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Greenview Memorial Gardens in East Moline.
Ms. Mullery was born Jan. 15, 1942, in Iowa City, IA, to Lemuel Elsworth and Luvera Mae (Bradley) Wise. She married Estel Hughes, and the couple had three children before divorcing.
She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Rock Island for many years. She enjoyed crafts and playing Bingo. Above all else, family was the most important thing to her, especially her grandchildren.
Ms. Mullery is survived by her children, Raymond “Paul” (Michelle) Hughes of Davenport, IA, Tammy (Mike Logan) Leetham of Hillsboro and Kim Hughes of Kincaid; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including Richard Fearn, Autumn Hughes, Noel Hughes and Hannah Fulton; and a brother, Curtis Wise.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Chad Wise.
