Lillian Lee (Perry) Hendricks, 97, of Farmersville, died on Thursday, Dec. 18.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 23, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m., at Bramley Funeral Home, located at 150 Reichert Rd. in Divernon. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Randy Sharp officiating. A luncheon will immediately follow and a private family graveside service will be at Rovey Cemetery in Farmersville.
Mrs. Hendricks was born in Glen Carbon on Oct. 5, 1928. She graduated from Edwardsville High School with the class of 1947. She married Karl F. Hendricks of Farmersville on Dec. 10, 1950, and resided in Farmersville since then. She was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church for over 50 years. She worked at the Bank and Trust Company in Farmersville during the 1980s and 90s and was a volunteer at Lincoln’s Tomb and New Salem.
She is survived by her brother, Lynn (Gloria) Perry of Glen Carbon; eldest son K. Dwight (Elizabeth)Hendricks, M.D. of Overland Park, KS; grandchildren, Dr. Brian (Shelley) Hendricks, D.O., Andrew (Emily) Hendricks of Overland Park, KS, Kristina (husband, Gabe) (Hendricks) Giles of New York, NY; Emily (husband, Matthew) (Hendricks) Escovar of Highlands Ranch, CO; middle son, F. Douglas Hendricks of Spring, TX; grandsons, Ryan (Amanda) Hendricks and Ross Hendricks of The Woodlands, TX, and Riley (Amie) Hendricks of Boise, ID; youngest son, Perry L. (Diane) Hendricks of Farmersville; grandchildren, Anthony Hendricks of Farmersville and Lindsay Hendricks of Springfield; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Peter and Blance Perry of Glen Carbon; husband, Karl F. Hendricks; and brother, Sheldon (Marianne) Perry of Collinsville.
