Three young motorcycle racers made the trip to the Tunnel Valley course in English, IN, for the fourth stop in the Crossroads Cross Country Series on Aug. 15. The trio represented Montgomery County well, taking home a second and two thirds in their respective classes.
In the Youth Bike division, Travis Lentz continued his success with a second place finish in the 65cc division. Riding a Husqvarna, Lentz also finished in the top ten overall in the Youth Bike division, coming in seventh out of 25 racers.
In the Intermediate Bike division, Case Cruthis finished third in the 4-Stroke class and 15th in the division on his Honda.
In the Pee Wee Bike division, Gideon Cruthis was third in the Auto Inject class and 15th in the overall standings for the division on his Yamaha.
In the series point standings, Lentz is first in the 65cc class with 81 points and is third in the overall Youth Bike standings with 118 points. Case Cruthis is in fourth in the 4-Stroke class with 39 points and 12th overall in Intermediate Bike with 56 points. Gideon Cruthis is in sixth in the Auto Inject class with 19 points and 37 overall in Pee Wee Bike with 18 points.
The next Crossroads Cross Country Series race is scheduled for Aug. 29-30, at Bar P Ranch in Springville, IN.
