Leneata R. (Kline) Huber, 94, of Litchfield, died on Monday, Dec. 25, 2023, at St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield.

A memorial service will be held Jan. 6, at Hough and Sons Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Donnellson Cemetery. Terry Loskot will be officiating.

Mrs. Huber was born Jan. 22, 1929, to her parents, J.C. and Oda (Sutton) Kline, in Calumet City. She married Joyce C. Huber on Oct. 11, 1947.

She attended Hillsboro High School. Mrs. Huber spent most of her life as a homemaker, but also worked at the Hillsboro Glass Factory. She enjoyed doing crafts and activities, including Bingo and word games. She was a believer in Christ and her faith in the Lord was strong.

She is survived by her daughters Nancy (Denny) Black of Litchfield, Rhonda (John) Gagliardo of Wood River, Lory Gaddis of Litchfield; grandchildren Brigitte Krieg, Michele Connell, Renae Krieg, Richard Pieper, Jr., Leslee Gaddis, and Antonio Gagliardo; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Huber is preceded in death by her two daughters, Jan Smith and Mary Kay Huber.
