Lawrence Kistner II, of Springfield, died on Monday, April 27, 2026.
Mr. Kistner was born on October 25, 1950, in Springfield, the son of Lawrence Kistner and Wanda Soyars. He married Toni Hauversburk in January of 1969. She preceded him in death, on September 14, 2000.
He worked in the oil industry in Odessa, TX, and also worked at Pillsbury in Springfield. He enjoyed coaching, music, fishing, riding motorcycles, and was very good at shooting pool. Mr. Kristner was a faithful Christian who loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Mr. Kistner is survived by his daughters, Danni Kistner of Chatham and LaDonna Fox of Odessa, TX; sons, Lawrence III (Lynda Harden) Kistner of Raymond, Boyd Kistner of Springfield, and Eric Vera of Omaha, NE; grandchildren, Wyatt and Jesse Kistner, both of Raymond, Torry Kistner of Springfield, and Haze Kistner of Chatham; siblings, Bobbie Decatoire, Kay Scharf, and Gina Curry, all of Springfield; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Belle.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; and daughter, Amanda Kistner.
