Kevin Wayne Jett, 59, of Litchfield, died Monday, Dec. 27, 2021, at 2:32 a.m., at HSHS St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
Visitation will be held Monday, Jan. 3, from 11 a.m. until noon, at Plummer Funeral Home in Litchfield. The funeral service will immediately follow visitation at noon. The Rev. Gary Schwab, with the First Presbyterian Church in Litchfield, will officiate. Burial will be in King Cemetery in Irving.
Mr. Jett was born July 22, 1962, in Litchfield, the son of Leslie Lewis and Ginger Ann (Logsdon) Jett. He was a laborer working in construction with Laborers Local 1084 out of Hillsboro. He was a member of South Side Church in Litchfield.
Mr. Jett is survived by his parents; daughters Elizabeth Jett and Samantha Jett, both of Kincaid; fiancee Amy Simmons Jett, of Litchfield; brother Jerry L. Jett, of Litchfield; sister Opal M. Jett, of Litchfield; grandchildren Hannah, Samantha, Haven, Izak, Abigail, Xnna, Peyton, Rosalie and Jackson.
He was preceded in death by sons, Kevin W. Jett and Wayne A. Jett; and brothers George A. Jett, LeRoy N. Jett and Dean M. Jett.
