Kathleen Diehl Fluss of Princeton, NJ, died on Friday, April 22, 2022, surrounded by family at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA, after a short illness.

Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, May 5, at St. Paul Parish in Princeton, NJ. Cremation and burial at St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont, PA, will follow. Kimble Funeral Home in Princeton, NJ, is assisting the family.

Mrs. Fluss was born July 18, 1947, in Philadelphia, PA, to William E. and Margaret R. Diehl. She married Robert D. Fluss, formerly of Hillsboro, and he survives.

She grew up in Lansdale, PA. She graduated from Lansdale Catholic High School, Gwynedd University Junior College and Rutgers University Douglass College, where she received a bachelor of arts degree and was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. She later enjoyed a career as a certified court reporter.

An extraordinary person of love, humor, compassion and friendship, Mrs. Fluss lived a full life raising her children, volunteering and participating in many causes and groups, and delighting everyone who knew her.

She always made a lasting contribution to whatever she was involved in, whether it was organizing yearly fundraising art shows while living in Japan, decorating the governor’s residence for Christmas with the Dogwood Garden Club, volunteering at St. Paul’s church, and as an active member of the Present Day Club.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Fluss is survived by her children, Kate (David) Fluss Ashley of Santa Fe, NM, and Paul R. (Kristen) Fluss of Franklin, TN; grandchildren, Aubrey Claire Fluss and Hazelle Mae Fluss; and seven siblings, Peggy Diehl, Jean Cubbage, William Diehl, Patricia Diehl, Susan Brady, Mary Jo Hughes and Mary-Beth DePaolo.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Anne Diehl.
