Julie Marie Clemons, 55, of Staunton, died on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis,MO.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Clemons was born Sept. 21, 1970, in Staunton, the daughter of the late Jacob and Janice (Osterbuhr) Scanzoni. She married John Clemons on July 30, 1999, in Edwardsville, and he survives.
She graduated from Livingston High School with the class of 1988 and was employed with various real estate and title companies throughout the area. She later obtained a degree in computer aided drafting through ITT in St. Charles, MO. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of New Douglas and enjoyed the beach, fishing and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Johnny Clemons of Staunton; children, Thomas (Jelesa) Clemons of Coffeen, Kali (Chase) Anderson, currently serving in the U.S. Air Force in Guam, Victoria Clemons of Staunton and Jaden Clemons of Staunton; three grandchildren, Levi Eckhardt, Rhonda Clemons and Lila Ray Anderson; brother, Jeffrey (Lisa) Scanzoni of Livingston; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Iyana Clemons; in-laws, John and Irene Clemons; and sisters-in-law, “Cricket” Clemons and Teri Mostajo.
