Juanita Kay Gasper, 79, formerly of Livingston, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2021 at the Fort Walton Beach Medical Center in Fort Walton Beach, FL.  She was currently living in Shalimar, FL.

Visitation will be held Friday, Aug. 27 from 9 to 10:45 a.m. at the Lesicko Funeral Home located at 271 N. Second Street in Livingston.  Funeral services will follow beginning at 11 a.m. at the Lesicko Funeral Home.  Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery near Livingston immediately following the services.

She was born on Wednesday, May 20, 1942, in Walshville Township, to Lester and Bessie (Sibert) Leetham.  She married Richard C. Miller and he preceded her in death on Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005.  She then married David J. Gasper and he also preceded her in death on Friday, July 22, 2011.

Mrs. Gasper worked as Head Cook at the Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville.  She also was co-owner, with her husband Dave, of Gasperoni’s Domestic & Imported Foods located in Livingston.  After the sale of Gasperoni’s, Kay and Dave moved to Osage Beach, MO where they lived until Dave’s death in 2011.  Kay then moved to Florida to be near her immediate family members.

She is survived by her sons Richard Miller II and Gregory Miller; daughter Lisa Miller; grandchildren Felicia Ray, Hannah Miller and Zachary Miller; great granddaughter Sidney Ray; numerous nieces and nephews; and her sister Mary Smith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, her son Richard Miller III; sister Dorothy White; and brothers Virgil, Bob and Paul Leetham.
