John William Buffalohead, 46, of Coffeen, died on Tuesday, Sept. 21, at his residence.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Hough and Sons Funeral Homes in Hillsboro is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mr. Buffalohead was born on Jan. 8, 1975, in Oklahoma City, OK, to William M. and Suzanne (Happold) Buffalohead. He was a skilled carpenter and cabinet maker, as well as an artist and a poet. Mr. Buffalohead was of the Baptist faith and a member of the KAW Nation. He was known as the family’s twisted clown.
Mr. Buffalohead is survived by his mother; children, Elizabeth Buffalohead of MO, Faith Buffalohead of OK, Darian Buffalohead of OK, Jacob Buffalohead of OK, Sebastian Buffalohead of TX, Alyssa Buffalohead of TX, and Alexis Buffalohead of TX; grandchildren, Rowdy Bailey and Dawson Bailey; siblings, Carolyn Buffalohead of TX, Gerri Van Scoy of AR; and Clara Buffalohead of Coffeen; and nieces and nephews, Annah, Alex, Katrina, Sierra, Trey, Bella, Journie, Brayden, Helia, Amber, Jessica, Scott, Eddie and Stormie.
He was preceded in death by his father; and brother, William M. Buffalohead II.
