Jeffrey J. Litterst, 57, of Edwardsville, died Monday, March 8, 2021, at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis, MO.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, March 13, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Edwardsville with the Very Rev. Jeffrey Goeckner officiating. Burial was held in Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Mt. Auburn.

Mr. Litterst was born March 20, 1963, in Springfield, the son of the late Ronald and Geraldine (O’Neill) Litterst. He married Melissa Seelbach on Nov. 6, 1993, and she survives.

A director of Enterprise Sales for nThrive, he was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Edwardsville, where he served as a Eucharistic Minister and Sacristan. He was an avid traveler, golfer, fisherman and hunter. His greatest joy came from spending time with and sharing his humor, laughter and love with his family and friends.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Adam Litterst of Edwardsville and Madeline Litterst of Nashville, TN; two sisters, Kathaleen (Dan) Sumpter and Lynn Litterst, all of Springfield; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bill and Judy (Brockamp) Seelbach of Farmersville; three brothers-in-law, Doug (Dawn) Seelbach of Bloomington, Greg (Kathy) Seelbach of Springfield and Tim (Rachel) Seelbach of Staunton; one sister-in-law, Beth (the late Tom) Blake of Elmhurst; and several nieces and nephews.
