Jean L. Snyder, 74, of Carlinville, died at 7:47 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 21, 2022, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 28, at Kravanya Funeral Home in Benld. Burial will be at Gillespie Cemetery. Kravanya Funeral Home of Benld is assisting the family with arrangements.
Ms. Snyder was born on Oct. 25, 1947, in Litchfield, to James and Gladys (Jones) Archibald. She worked for the Illinois Secretary of State. Ms. Snyder enjoyed reading,sudoku and crocheting.
Ms. Snyder is survived by her children, Fred (Patty) Snyder of Carlinville and Scott (Dana) Archibald of Lehigh Acres, FL: grandchildren, Katie Snyder, Alyssa Snyder, Marc (Nicole) Archibald, Connor (Makayla) Archibald and Patrick Archibald; great-grandchildren,Hunter Archibald, Charlie Archibald, Parker Archibald and Ava Archibald; siblings, Karen Archibald of Carlinville and Terry (Cindy) Archibald of Carlinville; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, James Archibald.
